CAKE (detail)
LATE! CAKE!! Tell me about it. This painting tortures me, it is big and in my living-room staring me down every night. So all we get's is a detail and maybe by next year I will finish it. I started the reflection entry but I have to wait for some oil to dry on that one... soon my pretties!! I am glad you're all holding the fort here, your art is blowing my mind!

Theme #6: Reflection
Everyday we are all faced with reflections whether we like them or not. So why not examine them further in our artwork. It's not like they don't get tossed and turned and puzzled over in our heads continuously. Maybe this'll help us let go of some of them or see them more clearly or who knows...just draw.

Bad Credit
4th entry by Leslie: Oh boy, I am not sure I should get in to how this relates to the topic. Let me just say I was thinking about credit as I painted this. It was going to be a big monster, symbolizing credit, where I can curl up inside, living comfortably. Apparently, it's not as romantic a scenario as I had originally thought. Amen.

Sweetly Dwelling
Leslie Wiegand: 3rd Entry on DwellingAnother last minute bail out painting. I started a larger piece of work which of course wasn't finished and slowly drifted away from the topic.
This one's about dwelling in my camper. Dwelling seems impermanent, like not a home, like a stagnant cesspool, catch my drift? What's on the outside is curious and scary.
